The 2021 ADAC GT Masters Esports Championship heads to the renowned Red Bull Ring in the virtual Austrian countryside this week as a €100,000 prize pool is up for grabs.

A packed grid of Europe’s premier esports professionals will deliver a closely match field, providing intense fights and precision driving.

After the first round at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, a narrow circuit that sometimes doesn’t lend too well to overtaking, the F1-spec Red Bull Ring features distinct passes opportunities. In particular, under brakes into turn three, AMG AS Turn.

Reigning champion Moritz Löhner, who recently tested a McLaren GT4 car in real life, claimed the first pole position and Sprint Race victory of the year, followed by a win for Nikodem Wisniewski in the partially reverse grid Feature Race.

Later today you will see two GT3 races and also the GT4 support class, which features Traxion.GG’s very own John Munro.

The English language stream is exclusive to Traxion.GG and will be commentated on by Connery Maddick and Paul Smith, starting from 19:15 CEST / 18:15 BST.
