If you add together the sales of Mario Kart 8 on Wii U and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch, the game has sold 41.8 million copies. Just let that sink in for a second. It’s sold, most likely all full retail price, 41.8 million copies. That’s staggering.
It’s also the most successful Mario Kart title of all time when combined – Mario Kart Wii sold 37.38 million flying solo despite the daft motion controls.
But – do we all agree on the best tracks in the game? Probably not, but I’m going to try and explain which my favourites are and why, placing them in ranked order creating a Top 10. Now, I know some of the placements will be controversial. I’m sorry-not-sorry. This is just my opinion. If you have your own and it happens to differ, that’s absolutely fine. Hey, that’s even what the YouTube comments section and social media are for.
So please, watch this video of the best tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, read the matching article and then let me know via social media what your favourites are.
