WATCH: Let’s play TOCA Race Driver 3, Episode 11

The Lotus Type 49. Design by Colin Chapman and Maurice Philippe for the 1967 Formula 1 season, it took drivers to F1 victories right up until 1970. In the back was the characterful Cosworth DFV engine.

Chapman and Cosworth, helping Graham Hill to the 1968 championship and also driven by Jim Clark, Emerson Fittipaldi, Jochen Rindt and Mario Andretti. It doesn’t get much more evocative than that.

Which is why Rick is gets all hot under the collar during this week’s TOCA Race Driver 3 retrospective. Yes, it’s the turn of the 1960s single seater championship to see if I can recreate some of the historic drives by some of the best F1 drivers of all time.
