The Le Mans Virtual Series is just about to kick off the season in just about two weeks. While that series is meant for the top teams and esports drivers in the world, the Le Mans Virtual Cup exists for everybody else.
The Cup allows for anyone with a copy of rFactor 2 to compete in their own setting that is complimentary to the Series. There is a bit of an incentive for doing well in the Le Mans Virtual Cup, as the Top 2 in the championship points at the end of the four round series will advance to the full-fledged 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual grid.
Our John Munro fired up the PC and loaded up rFactor 2 to give it a go for Round 1 at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. The Top 30 times in qualifying will make the Le Mans Virtual Cup top split, which will be broadcasted here on the Traxion.GG YouTube, Facebook and Twitch channels on 24th September.
Can John set a time good enough to make the main event? Watch the method behind the madness as he attempts to improve his time over the course of the competition session. If you’d like to participate yourself, check out Studio 397’s website for more details. Qualifying is open now and will end on the 12th of September.
