WATCH: Is the new v1.8 Assetto Corsa Competizione update a gamechanger?

Watch as John tests out the latest version of Assetto Corsa Competizione – the Version 1.8 update. Although there is a new car included in the form of the BMW M4 GT3, there’s also a plethora of subtle changes to improve the overall gaming experience.

The question is, does this transform the game?

We test out the new Open Series game mode with the aforementioned BMW, in a multi-class single player race. This is something we’ve wanted to try for a long time in Kunos Simulazioni’s official SRO GT World Challenge platform.

These new changes are PC-only for now, but will be coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in February 2022.
