Season 4 of the GT Pro racing esports championship heads to the Indianapolis road course for Round 6 and the final race evening. The championship is on the line for those at the top of the standings, while the threat of relegation looms large for those near the bottom.

After a consistent, and race-winning, season, Burst Esports’ Jernej Simončič heads the standings once the current dropped rounds have been factored in. But, this is just four points ahead of a charging Alex Siebel for Red Bull Racing Esports. Don’t discount Jiri Toman, Dennis Jordan or Marcell Csincsik either. It really is all to play for.

During Round 5 at Spa-Francorchamps, the two versions of the GTE Chevrolet Corvette dominated, with R8G Esport’s Risto Kappet taking victory in the Sprint Race, while championship contender Dennis Jordan stood atop the podium for the Feature.

Crucially, the Ferrari-equipped Simončič managed a fourth and an eight, whereas his closest rival, Siebel, finished in the top five in both races.
