The sixth and final round of the GT Challenge racing esports championship will take place today at the famed Indianapolis Road Course.
With a packed GT3-equipped grid, who have qualified using the rFactor 2 Competition System, all are fighting for the prize of a GT Pro Series grid slot for Season 5.
Last time out at Spa-Francorchamps, Christian Michel was able to cement himself at the top of the standings, but behind Philipp Drayss, Jimi Nisula, Erhan Jajovski and Turkka Hakkinen fight over the top five positions.
It was a Cetrez Nitor Velox one-two in the Sprint Race, Christian Michel heading Turkka Hakkinen, while Paul August Laane steered his Volante Bentley to first in the Feature Race.
At each round, there will be a qualifying session, a Sprint Race and a Feature Race. Qualifying will be a 15-minute dash for the pole, followed by the shorter 15-minute race, with the grid set from the timed session.
The second, longer, race of each round will last 45 minutes, with the grid also set based upon qualifying results, but with the top 10 reversed.
Speaking of which, it’s live on the Traxion.GG YouTube channel and Facebook page this evening – we’ll see you there.
