Here we go, the grand final of the first-ever Formula Pro Series is here, as later today the V10-powered single-seaters take to the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
In a thrilling season, so far Bono Huis has one all five rounds – so watch this evening to see if anyone can prevent him from a clean sweep. Having already sewn up the Drivers’ title, in Formula Pro the Teams’ standings are more pertinent than in most esports series, as it’s these that determine who stays up and who is relegated for Season 2.
With that in mind, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team has a slim lead over Team Redline, with just four points in it and the championship on the line. At the bottom end, Jean Alesi Esports Academy and Musto GD e-Sports are under pressure to deliver top-drawer results.
Last time out at a newly updated Zandvoort circuit, you already know the swimmer, but behind there was a frantic scrap for anything but the first position. The venue had proven difficult to overtake on when Formula 1 visited it a week prior, but the Formula Pro drivers were able to put on a show.
The broadcast starts from 18:30 BST / 19:30 CEST / 13.30 ET / 10.30 PT today on the Traxion.GG YouTube channel and Facebook page – we’ll see you there!
