The latest official Formula 1 game, F1 22, has been unveiled – here’s everything we know.
EA SPORTS F1 22, to give it its full title, will not only witness a shift in nomenclature, but also replicate the brand new real-world rules. That means new cars, a fresh tyre model and aerodynamic systems and the inclusion of sprint events.
Happily, several tracks have received a lick of paint and Miami will be included from the off. But there’s much more to it than that, as the new gameplay-affecting features – and cosmetic F1 Life sideshow – could be the main changes, and some of the details are obfuscated at present. Then there’s the various pre-order bonuses, editions and dual entitlement to decipher.
Here’s everything we’ve gleaned so far from the press materials, teaser trails and pre-order landing pages – if you spot anything further, or have an idea as to how the race day features may work, let us know in the comments below.
