It’s Week 13 on iRacing… and that means there’s new content that’s out NOW for members to try before the new 2023 Season 1 kicks off next week! Dave Cam shelled out a few coins to get his hands on all the new content, and today he’s trying out the three new cars available on the iRacing service.
Today, Dave takes a look at the new-and-included-with-membership Toyota GR86 Cup Car, plus the new paid content cars, the Mercedes-AMG W13 E Performance and the BMW M Hybrid V8 LMDh/GTP.
Those new cars are all of the road racing variety – exactly Dave’s area of expertise! However, two of them (the Merc and the BMW) are downforce machines, and that’s not something that Dave does a lot of. While the Toyota is included, Dave’s still going to let you know his thoughts of whether the car is worth it.
Taking the GR86 out on Oulton Park, the W13 up on Interlagos (where it won this year!) and the BMW over on Daytona Road, Dave tests out how the cars feel, look, sound, and everything else you need to know from inside the virtual cockpit.
