John revisits the 2014 Assetto Corsa, without mods, to see if there’s still a vibrant online multiplayer scene and if the experience holds up eight years later.
WATCH: Assetto Corsa, multiplayer racing review of 2022, episode 3

How does the original Assetto Corsa stand up when it comes to online multiplayer? John will guide you through.

It should be noted that this video specifically pertains to the PC version, which uses a different user interface to the PlayStation and Xbox versions.

Leaving Early Access way back in 2014, eight years later there’s still a hardy bunch of drivers who regularly compete online within Kunos Simulazioni’s simulator. This is thanks, in part, to a keen modding scene, but setting that aside, can you still find good racing? Watch to find out.

Let us know in the comments below if you still compete online in Assetto Corsa. Don’t forget to also watch Dave Cam test a mad, fictional, modded Lancia HF Prototype on this platform too.

This follows John’s online multiplayer reviews of RaceRoom Racing Experience and Gran Turismo 7.
