Rocket League, our favorite non-racing-but-car-driving game where you play football (or soccer for us Americans) with cars, moved into its 10th season of competition on Wednesday (8th March).

The latest addition to the title comes in the form of the Volkswagen Golf Mk2 GTI, a popular classic hot hatch from the late 1980s to early 1990s. This car is equipped with Rocket League’s Octane car hitbox and comes with a realistic pair of wheels that match the car.

This Volkswagen Golf Mk2 GTI is available through the Rocket Pass. It can be anyone’s immediately when purchasing Rocket Pass Premium, but there’s a second version of the car – the Volkswagen Golf Mk2 GTI RLE, which is a tuned version and can be unlocked through the Tiers of the Season 10 Rocket Pass.

A premium Rocket Pass will cost 1000 credits. For 2000 credits, the Rocket Pass Bundle will also unlock on 12 Tiers besides the base level Volkswagen Golf Mk2 GTI. That price is 33 percent off the normal price of 3000 credits! Wow!

For reference, it costs £3.75/$4.99 for 500 credits, £7.50/$9.99 for 1,100 credits, £18.75/$24.99 for 3,000 credits, or £37.50/$49.99 for 6,500 credits.

Season 10 is officially live as of 8th March. It also comes with a new arena and other additional add-ons. Check out the rest of the details over on the Rocket League Season 10 website.
