SCS Software has treated truck sim fans to another sneaky peak of its upcoming Oklahoma DLC pack for American Truck Simulator, highlighting the city of Tulsa and the Beavers Bend and Gloss Mountain State Parks.
The Oklahoma DLC is set to appear with the release of American Truck Simulator’s (ATS) v1.48 update, which recently entered its open beta phase.
Check out all the new Oklahoma details and images below.
American Truck Simulator Oklahoma DLC: Tulsa
Sited on the Arkansas River, Tulsa is the second-biggest city in Oklahoma with a population of just over one million. Tulsa has been massively important to Oklahoma’s economy since oil was discovered in the early 20th century.
Tulsa is bisected by the famous Route 66, providing another valuable transport link for the included industries in-game, with the likes of gas and chemical distribution centres, tyre factories and furniture stores set to entertain ATS players.
American Truck Simulator Oklahoma DLC: Beavers Bend and Gloss Mountain State Parks
We move onto more scenic areas of Oklahoma next, with Beavers Bend and Gloss Mountain State Parks set to be added to the DLC. These represent two of Oklahoma’s seven State Parks, providing a scenic alternative destination for ATS players.
Beavers Bend adds a new viewpoint to the game, allowing players to take in the verdant forests and waterways of the region, including Broken Bow Lake and the Mountain Fork River. This means tourism is an important industry to Beavers Bend, which has been the case since its foundation in 1937.
Gloss Mountain State Park also adds another viewpoint to the game, making the most of its scenic hiking trails and geological diversity; including the imposing Cathedral and Lone Peak Mountains.
American Truck Simulator’s Oklahoma DLC is available to wishlist on Steam now, with a price still to be determined.
