Thrustmaster has unveiled a new truck wheel for its SimTask range, dubbed the SimTask Truck-40 Add-On Kit.
Compatible for all Thrustmaster wheelbases on PC and consoles, the new trucking wheel add-on measures 40cm in diameter, and features 22 action buttons for truck simulation titles like Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. It can be adjusted with four height presets and tilted up to a 30 degree angle.
A mounting kit is also included, along with an adjustable metal support providing the “ideal driving posture” and “instant immersion on long hauls.”
Showcased at Gamescom, Thrustmaster’s new trucking wheel is set to go on sale in October, but pricing is unconfirmed. It joins other products in Thrustmaster’s SimTask range that simulate truck or heavy-machinery driving by allowing wheelbases to be vertically mounted.
The new wheel will work with all Thrustmaster wheelbases that support detachable rims, and feature compaitbility with old and new-style Thrustmaster quick release systems. The mounting kit is compatible with all Thrustmaster wheelbases, except the T128, T248, T248R and T98.
