The second MotoGP eSport Championship challenge is now live

The second of four qualifying time trials is now open for the 2021 MotoGP eSport Championship.

Using the MotoGP 20 game on PC, PlayStation or Xbox, this week’s challenge is set at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar. The venue is regularly the season opener for the real-life championship and recently held a pre-season test session.

Continuing that theme, in this latest leaderboard challenge, you will be riding as reigning MotoGP champion Joan Mir and using his Suzuki – but in the super-cool, bare carbon, testing livery.

All you have to do to compete is set a lap time before 17:00 GMT on the 28th March. Be careful though, those track limits brutal, with invalid laps being the order of the day.

After these first four online time trial events, a draft selection takes place to select the top 16 players who will then go on to compete in races held at real-life MotoGP race weekends later this year. Let us know if you’re taking part via social media.
