Following the Nürburgring Nordschleife DLC earlier this month, the latest generation Ford Mustang GT3 is now available via a free update for console Assetto Corsa Competizione drivers.

The patch is now live for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, which provides the car alongside tweaks to car lights and the aforementioned German venue’s joker lap system used in qualifying.

It arrives a scant 24 days after the matching PC content addition.

Debuting in the real world at January’s 24 Hours of Daytona and was recently granted an erratum fix by the FIA to update the durability of its rear wing and boot/trunk lid. 

Proton Competition runs the vehicle in the SRO-ran GT World Challenge series, for which ACC is the official simulation.

It is a co-development between Ford and Multimatic and is equipped with a thunderous 5.4-litre V8 engine modified by the Cumbrian M-Sport outfit.

It is not yet confirmed if this is the final new content for the venerable Competizione, with the new Assetto Corsa Evo platform expected later this year.
