The Crew 2’s Dominion Frozen update adds ice racing tracks and challenges

Episode two of The Crew 2’s MotorFlix Season 6 will launch later this month, and it follows on from the first chapter – Dominion Forsberg – that featured the three-time Formula Drift Champion. 

This time around, however, things are a bit cooler. In fact, a lot cooler, as the sub-zero temperatures have led to icy roads. 

The Crew 2 MotorFlix Season 6 Episode 2: Dominion Frozen 

Now racing in tricky conditions – with enhanced weather effects added to the open-world racer in July of this year – you must take what you learnt from Chris Forsberg in the first episode and beat fresh challenges. 

There will be three new ice tracks added to the game for the season’s challenges to take place. 

• Eagle Falls 
• Five Kings Casino 
• Black Rift 

Nine new events will arrive in-game, on the following cadence: 

• 14^th September 2022 – Three new events 
• 28^th September 2022 – Two new events 
• 13^th October 2022 – Two new events 
• 26^th October 2022 – Two new events 

This update includes the following one new car and a returnee to the roster: 

• Mazda RX-3 (1972) – Steet Race 
• Mitsubishi Eclipse Star Edition (1999) – Street Race 

The Mazda will be available to all players via the in-game dealership on 14^th September, while the Mitsubishi follows on 21^st September – previously only available by completing a prior LIVE Summit. 

There are some further new vehicles included via the MotorPass too… 

The Crew 2 Season 6 Episode 2 Motorpass 

As ever, The Crew 2’s Motorpass returns for a brand-new season – think Rocket League’s Rocket Pass or F1 22’s Podium Pass, where you progress through free tiers of levels and vanity items by simply playing the game. There’s also a paid, premium, tier that adds extra items. 

The following four new cars can be unlocked through Motorpass progression, with the DMC DeLorean free to all, provided you hit the required level. 

• Premium – Tier 1 – Saleen S7 Glacier Edition 
• Premium – Tier 13 – Mazda RX-3 Supercharged Edition 
• Free – Tier 25 – Creators DeLorean DMC-12 Outadrift 
• Premium – Tier 37 – Dodge SRT Viper GTS Lightning Edition 

There’s also the Premium Motorpass bundle, which includes the ‘regular’ Premium Motorpass that unlocks the Saleen straight away, but also the Mazda RX-3 Supercharged Edition from the off. 

Black Ice and Premium LIVE Summits 

There will also be a new LIVE Summit, called Black Ice and on the frozen roads, come 14^th September for everyone to enjoy. A LIVE Summit is a group of events, with online leaderboards, where the top percentile of performers also receive bonus pay-outs come the event’s end. 

Further LIVE Summits will arrive on 21^st September, 28^th September, 10^th October, 19^th October, 26^th October and 9^th November 2022. 

A paid-for premium Dominion Rivals LIVE Summit will arrive on 5^th October, with the prize being the following customised Chrysler if the Platinum level is achieved: 

• Chrysler 300 SRT8 Crown Edition (2013) – Steet Race 

A second premium LIVE Summit will launch on 2^nd November 2022.
