Black Friday sim racing deals

BY ROSS McGREGOR, JUSTIN MELILLO AND THOMAS HARRISON-LORD

Black Friday is here. Or nearly here, depending on when you read this article. Either way, the 25th November 2022 will be filled with savings across sim racing equipment and racing game content.

Here’s not every item reduced, but the Traxion.GG team’s hot picks from the offers available. Steering wheels, cockpits and software, across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch – here are our Black Friday 2022 selections.

This is an evolving article that we’ll keep updated when we see more deals. Predominately, these offers apply to the UK and USA markets only. If you purchase something from a Traxion.GG link, we may earn a commission. See our affiliate statement.

Traxion.GG is not responsible for price changes, stock shortages or your bank balance management. Just pointing that out, there.

Games and sim racing platforms

F1 22

Daniel Ricciardo, F1 22, Austin

EA SPORTS’ F1 22 has continued the good work of Codemasters’ previous entries in the series, albeit with the slightly unpopular addition of F1 Life and supercars. However, the game mechanics remain solid enough and it’s well worth spending time with if you’re a fan of F1.

And it gets better – F1 22 is currently half-price on PC via Steam, PlayStation and Xbox.

  • F1 22 – PC Steam – £49.99 £24.99
  • F1 22 PS4/Xbox One – £59.99 / $59.99 £29.99 / $29.99

While the base software for iRacing is technically free, it also needs a subscription to access the numerous pieces of content. As usual, iRacing has its annual Black Friday sale again this year with 50 per cent off ALL new memberships and 25 per cent off renewals and reactivations for the 12 or 24-month tiers. The sale excludes paid cars and tracks.

This discount started a couple of weeks ago, but it runs through the entirety of November through the end of the day on 1st December.

  • iRacing PC – Two-year membership for new sign-ups – $199 $99.50

Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 Bugatti EB110 Super Sport 1992

Similar to Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation, the big exclusive title for Xbox players has to be the Forza series, and right now the top game is Forza Horizon 5. Coming directly from the Microsoft store, all three editions of Forza Horizon 5 will be on sale this Black Friday.

  • Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition – $99.99 $64.99
  • Forza Horizon 5 Deluxe Edition – $79.99 $51.99

  • Forza Horizon 4 Deluxe Edition – $79.99 $27.99
  • Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition – $59.99 $19.79

There’s also another option out there and it’s definitely the best deal possible. Shoppers can own both Forza Horizon titles in their top form for a HEAVILY discounted rate.

  • Forza Horizon 5 / Forza Horizon 4 Premium Editions Bundle – $199.98 $79.99

This applies to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One and Series X|S physical editions.
