Taxi Chaos 2 coming to PC next week just in time for Christmas

Just in time for Christmas next week, Taxi Chaos 2 is speeding onto PC via Steam on 23^rd December, with PlayStation and Nintendo Switch versions set to follow in early 2026, according to the announcement.

However, a trailer description lists the game for Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on 23^rd December, with PlayStation 5 and Epic Games Store releases to follow on 13^th January, 2026. We have contacted the publisher for clarification.

Physical versions will also be published by Curveball Games next year, but platforms are yet to be confirmed.

A new trailer gives a closer look at the game’s open world and madcap driving scenarios.  

Unlike the 2021 original, Taxi Chaos 2 isn’t a typical Crazy Taxi clone. While you’ll still be picking up and delivering passengers or cargo within a time limit, the sequel is set in a city overrun by AI-powered TaxiBots that chase you down, taking the series in a futuristic direction.

As well as TaxiBots, you’ll also have to overcome hazards and blocked routes, while passengers’ requirements might change during a shift.

Taxis range from heavy vehicles that can easily plough into objects to speed-focused sports cars and drifters. They can also be equipped with upgrades, including sonic blasts, hacking keys that control draw gates and draw bridges, and the ability to drive over water.

As well as a score-based arcade mode, Taxi Chaos 2 will feature a story mode told through cut scenes, with taxi driver Vinny returning from the first game.
