The fourth and final season of SnowRunner’s Year 4 Pass will be available from 6 PM BST today (4th September 2025), bringing three new trucks and a challenging new campaign map to the game.
Season 16, titled: ‘High Voltage’, tasks players with commissioning a hydroelectric dam, battling against floods, downed bridges and treacherous forests in the process. The campaign, which is set in the Great Northwestern state of Washington, is split across three 4 km² maps, with the first order of business to reconnect and repair the area’s transport links.
Thankfully, there are three new vehicles available to help players complete their mission, including the H.I.B Billert 1980, the PLAD 440 “Buddy” and the Sleiter ST833 “Chimera”.
The Billert is a utilitarian truck with excellent off-roading abilities, while the PLAD is a heavy-duty cargo lugger. The Sleiter, on the other hand, is a beast of a machine, capable of towing and transporting large payloads across the most challenging of landscapes.
10 Washington-themed stickers are also included in Season 16, which is available to try now across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Mac and PC platforms.
Season 16 will unlock automatically for owners of the Year 4 Pass and SnowRunner’s 4-Year Anniversary Edition. Snowrunner’s Year 4 Pass currently costs £21.99 / $24.99 / 24,99€.
As well as releasing the final part of Season 16, SnowRunner developer Saber Interactive has also made its Year 5 Pass available to buy.
Another four seasons of diverse map and vehicle content await players, with the Pathfinders Vinyl Wrap Pack included in the purchase.
Controversially, as the Year 5 Pass begins, Saber will drop ongoing support for both Mac and Switch versions of SnowRunner. However, mods and multiplayer will still be available afterwards, but crossplay will cease to function from November.
“Just so you know: Switch and Mac won’t get live-ops updates anymore (crossplay stays until November),” read a statement. “Multiplayer is still here, mods are still working on Switch, and from now on, the game is yours to shape on these platforms!” it concluded.
