Unveiled at the same time as the hotly anticipated Simucube 3 wheel base, the new Savue wheel tied into the brand’s new Link Quick Release.
Replacing the preceding method of connecting a wheel to the wheel base, if you call all-in on the new ecosystem, the Savu wheel doesn’t need a USB or wireless (like Bluetooth) connection. Instead, everything just ‘works’ through the quick release, thanks to what the company calls Simucube LightBridge.
It’s not just the connection that’s radically different, but the wheel design is all-new too.
This is a GT-style wheel, with a 295 mm diameter. Available in two flavours, each comes with 12 RGB backlit buttons and four shift paddles around the rear.
The entry-level Savu Sport features two thumb encoders (at the top) and two seven-way switches.
Step up to the Savu Pro, and that adds two further thumb encoders on the sides, two extra 12-position switches and three additional encoders with push-button functionality. There’s also a 27-LED strip for engine revs.
Both can be fitted with two further optional paddle shifters (for a total of six).
Interestingly, both the Sport and the Pro can be purchased in ‘Simucube 3 compatibility’ or ‘Simucube 2 compatibility’ guises.
The former does not feature a battery and uses the new Simucube 3 Link Quick Release to transfer data. The latter does include a batter (30-60 hours).
The new wheel is available for order from today, 9th October 2025, to go along with the Simcube 3 wheel base.
