Simagic’s ‘zero-cogging’ Alpha Evo wheelbases available to pre-order now

Simagic’s latest range of direct drive wheelbases have finally broken cover and are available to pre-order from today (14th April 2025).

The Alpha Evo range, featuring 9 Nm, 12 Nm and 18 Nm variations has ‘zero-cogging’ technology, which completely eliminates the mechanical notchiness found in other wheelbases. Simagic’s new wheelbases are also set up for third-party steering wheels from the off, with each unit supplied with a 70mm hole pattern and a QR adapter to ease the process.

Set for release on the 28th of April, the Simagic Alpha Evo wheelbases all feature active cooling systems and a magnetic contact design suitable for future dash integration, with a patented slip ring design contributing to a built-in wired steering wheel connection.

Players can also control various force feedback details and customise the Alpha Evo’s interestingly circular RGB light arrangement via an updated version of Simagic’s proprietary Simpro software.
