Sabelt, the storied Italian seatbelt, car seat and motorsport equipment manufacturer, has moved into the sim racing market in a big way thanks to its new range of cockpits.
Named the ‘Sabelt S Series,’ gamers can choose between four configurations of cockpit, all with differing levels of equipment and specification, starting with the S97 at €699 all the way up to the S99-BDD at €1,497.
The S97 and S97-BWD are Sabelt’s entry-level cockpits, with the BWD enjoying wheel and pedal mount. The higher grade S99 and S99-BDD operate in a similar fashion, with the BDD variant stocked with wheel and pedal mounting solutions designed for professional level sim equipment from the likes of Simucube and VRS.

All cockpits come in an attractive matt ‘Galaxy Grey’ colour in a sandblasted finish, with 10mm aluminium side plates finished with Sabelt branded yellow stripes. The S97’s base consists of 120mm x 40mm aluminium profile with 80mm x 40mm side sections, while the S99 is made up of sturdier 60mm x 40mm and 120mm x 40mm aluminium profile respectively.
Pre-orders are open now, with every pre-ordered cockpit receiving a free set of Sabelt seatbelts. Customers can also add to their Sabelt cockpits with Sabelt’s range of accessories; including a branded Sabelt seat, monitor stands, wheel rims and many others.
