The approved fiscal year 2021-2022 Draft Financial Statements from Digital Bros Group’s Board of Directors has unveiled that Assetto Corsa had generated more than €21m in revenue, making it the publisher’s best-selling game over the past 12 months.
The Digital Bros Group 2021-2022 fiscal year lasted from 1st July 2021 until 30th June 2022. Digital Bros is the owning entity of 505 Games, which in turn owns the developmental entity Kunos Simulazioni, developers of both Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione.
This number could pertain to the entire Assetto Corsa franchise, which would include the titular Assetto Corsa simulator which was released in 2014 on PC and in 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There also exists Assetto Corsa Mobile for iPhone users which was released during FY2021-2022 in August 2021.
Assetto Corsa Competizione, the official videogame of the GT World Challenge, which was released for PC back in 2019, previous gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles in 2020 and the current-gen consoles earlier in 2022, also contributed to these figures.
“The bestselling video game was the evergreen Assetto Corsa, intellectual property owned by the Group, which exceeded Euro 21 million revenue,” stated the report.
