Rennsport set for Le Mans and classic GT1s as DLC details revealed
New cars and a track have been revealed for Rennsport's first two DLC packs, including the Circuit de la Sarthe, the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI, the Porsche 911 GT1 and the BMW E30 M3.
Speaking to Traxion, Competition Company has stated that the Endurance Classics Part 1 DLC, which will be released ‘late 2025’, will contain at least three cars and one track, comprising the Mercedes-Benz CLK LM and Porsche 911 GT1 contenders from the late ‘90s, and a previously confirmed Porsche 956 Group C prototype.
However, the DLC will also feature the Circuit de la Sarthe, home of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in what is likely to be a popular addition for classic endurance racing enthusiasts.
Likewise, the Touring Classics Part 1 DLC, which is scheduled to release in ‘early 2026’, will feature four legendary DTM cars from the series’ heyday, including the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI and Mercedes-Benz C Class V6, which battled together in the DTM between 1993-1995 (and in the ITC in 1996).
This pack will also include BMW’s and Mercedes-Benz’s main protagonists from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s DTM – the E30 M3 and the AMG 190 E Evo, respectively – providing plenty of Group A tin top thrills.
Intriguingly, each DLC’s ‘Part 1’ moniker indicates that Rennsport players can look forward to further historic racing content in future.
Rennsport prices
Both DLC packs will be included in Rennsport’s Deluxe Version on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, although individual pack prices have yet to be revealed.
The Standard Edition of Rennsport will be €49.99 on PC and €59.99 on console, while the Deluxe Edition will be €69.99 on PC and €79.99 on console.
