RaceRoom's fightback plan with Jean-François Chardon | Traxion.GG Podcast S6 E9

On this episode of the Traxion.GG Podcast, we are joined by Jean-François Chardon, Head of Studio at KW Studios, responsible for RaceRoom Racing Experience.

He’s worked at what was formerly SimBin Studios, then Sector3 and now KW Studios since 2009, so this interview is hopefully interesting for those who’d like to know more about RaceRoom’s story and are part of the cognoscenti.

We also hear about a prior Unreal engine prototype and how the platform is now in a strong place for the future, with the investment needed to hire developers and a clear plan for revised UI, ranked multiplayer and a content roadmap.

The team is even investigating a new graphics engine as it commits to the long-term evolution of the platform. We even touch upon the now-failed GTR3 project and how it impacted development.

This, then, is why RaceRoom is one to watch in 2023 and beyond, with host Thomas Harrison-Lord.
