RaceRoom Racing Experience unveils Ranked Championship Season 1 schedule

Registration for the first RaceRoom Racing Experience Ranked Championship series is now open. Ranked Championships are brand new to the platform, utilizing the reputation score that drivers can earn through the fairly-new Ranked Multiplayer mode introduced last year.

The first three championships encompass each reputation seeding, from anyone who can signup today as Rookies competing in the M235i Rookie Cup, reputations of 75 or higher for Ams in the GT4 Trophy, and Pros with more than 80 reputation in the GT3 Pro Series.

The stipulations are that in order to compete in the selected championship, drivers will need to have that minimum reputation by the Monday after registration closes. Also, every round will its own separate registration, and every driver will need to register for their respective series.

Each series will be split into three split types, each split having 24 drivers competing. Gold splits will be the 24 highest ranked drivers per the reputation system, and those races will have live broadcasts. Silver splits will be the next ranked 24 drivers and then Bronze splits will be the lowest ranked drivers.

The Rookie Series will use the BMW M235i Class. For the Am Series, the class will include cars from the six manufacturers in the GTR 4 category. As for the Pro Series, they’ll have a selection of car models from the GTR 3 and ADAC Classes with all cars having the same performance index. Those cars are listed below:

  • Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO
  • BMW M6 GT3
  • Bentley Continental GT3
  • Bentley Continental GT3 EVO
  • Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R
  • Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO 2020 DTM
  • McLaren 720S GT3 DTM
  • Mercedes-AMG GT3
  • Mercedes-AMG GT3 2020
  • Porsche 911 GT3 R (2019)

Race 1 will take place at the Nürburgring on the GP Fast Chicane layout. Registration is open now and will close on 15th May. The full calendar for Season 1 is listed below. Streams are currently scheduled to start between 18:55 CEST and 19:05 CEST with each Gold split race featured, starting with the Rookies. Action will be available live on the RaceRoom Facebook, YouTube and Twitch channels.

Prizes will be awarded for each series. Drivers who compete in every race will receive a vRP bonus as well. More information can be found on the Sector 3 Studios forum, including the points structure and an expanded set of rules and regulations.
