With one week to go before the hotly-anticipated iRacing Daytona 24 Hour, there’s a new patch being dropped. This one will see a number of BOP adjustments for GT3 cars but also a significant setup adjustment for the Dallara P217 car.
Adjustments at this stage of preparations are likely to frustrate some teams and drivers as they aim to do their best in the upcoming event.
Notable changes include:
- Dallara P217 has received new camber setup limits ahead of next weekend’s Daytona 24 Hour race which may leave some teams scrambling to adjust their setups
- GT3 BOP changes for Lamborgini Huracán, BMW M4, Ford GT, McLaren MP4-12C, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche 911 RSR
- Minor updates to some cars, including base-setups (full details in notes)
- Spa, iRacing Superspeedway, Richmond and Watkins Glen are now available for AI racing
- Minor track adjustments to a number of circuits to smooth some bumps, reduce circuit-cutting and some graphical adjustments (full details in notes)
The patch will be going live today.
You can read all of the notes from the developers below or read the whole post on iRacing’s forums (requires an iRacing account.)
