Funselektor and Strelka Games’ Over the Hill has seen a new trailer debut, which showcases its varied environments and weather.

The slow-paced off-roading game is set to be a relaxing play, as you explore differing open-world areas. The calming driving game can be played solo or up to four players via online co-op.

In this latest footage, the boxy 1980s vehicles are shown providing mechanical assistance to each other, accidentally falling down the side of a ravine and winching other vehicles out of tricky scenarios.

There’s also a hint at vehicle upgrades. One car arrives at a base camp looking stock, before cutting to it later with front bars, a roof rack, extra lights and a giant aerial. These upgrades can be found throughout the areas, as you complete objectives, and even include engine and tyre changes, not just cosmetics.

Bright sunshine, freezing conditions and thunderstorms are also highlighted, part of the dynamic weather and time of day features.

Further images and footage of different areas, or biomes, are expected closer to the release date, which is later this year on PC. Console editions are hoped for later.
