A yearly tradition is back with the third iteration of the VCO Simmy Awards and the nomination phase is coming to a close soon.
Organized by the Virtual Competition Organisation based over in Munich, Germany, the VCO Simmy Awards are put on to recognize the best of the best in esports racing multiple categories. There are 11 categories to put up nominations for, but this first phase will close on Sunday 13th November.
Anyone can nominate by heading to the dedicated link on the VCO Esports website, and the suggestions of the people will be matched together with the nominations from the six-member SIMMY Jury, who will also be casting who they believe should be nominated as well.

From top racers to top content creators, there are awards all across the board. Some of the winners from last year include Joshua Rogers as the Best Esports Racer, Team Redline as the Best Team, and Jimmy Broadbent as the Best Social Media. The categories are slightly different than they were last year.
Once the nominations have been sorted, the voting phase will commence from 15th to 28th of November. The community makes up half of the vote, and the other half will come from that six member jury of esteemed names in the sim racing and esports, those six being:

Once the nominations and votes have been counted and decided upon, the awards show will commence the day after Christmas, 26th December, starting at 8:00 pm CET / 7:00 pm BST / 2:00 pm ET.
