REG Simulations, the creator of the nascent early access sim racing game PISTA Motorsport is starting 2025 as it means to go on with the announcement of a new track.
Autódromo de Concepción del Uruguay will be the next Argentinian venue (despite having ‘Uruguay’ in its name, it is, in fact, located within neighbouring Argentina) to be added for free.
The venue has a relatively simplistic layout, with over eight turns and swathes of grassy runoff areas.
It’s used, predominately, by the region’s leading touring car championships. TC2000 used the decade-old circuit for rounds 13 and 14 of its 2024 season.
Work-in-progress images of the track have been shared within PISTA Motorsport, showcasing the layout, buildings and pitlane. As the simulation offers both dry and wet conditions, the depictions also highlight the differing available conditions.
The platform has issued a roadmap of updates across its public development phases, with further cars and tracks on the way – a full release is expected in 2026. It recently confirmed a Toyota Camry Turismo Carretera car.
