Update, 17/1/25: After consulting with Moza, we have established that the CM 2 Racing Dash will not be compatible with Sim Hub.
Moza continues to bring new products to the sim racing space as it has just revealed new versions of its FSR Formula Wheel CM Racing Dash,
The FSR 2 Formula Wheel and CM 2 Racing Dash are available to order now, with both products featuring fully customisable touchscreens via the Chinese company’s Pit House software.
Moza FSR 2 Formula Wheel
The FSR 2 shares a chassis design similar to the outgoing model, featuring a carbon fibre front plate and perforated leather grips, with similarly positioned button and switch placements.
The biggest difference between the two models is the addition of an extra pair of analogue paddles to the rear of the unit to act as DRS and KERS controllers, bringing the total number of paddles to six.
The bulk of the wheel comprises Moza’s traditional aviation-grade aluminium, with controls including seven two-way switches, 10 buttons, two rotary switches and two joysticks. There are also six RGB signal lights and a 10 LED rev counter, with the 4.3 inch HD screen’s display fully customisable through Moza’s Pit House software.
It appears to be more evolution than revolution, then, with the FSR 2 set to retail at $649 / €699 / £649 / $1,099 AUD.
Moza CM 2 Racing Dash
The CM 2 Racing Dash builds on Moza’s CM Racing Dash by introducing an upgraded 720P HD touchscreen display.
The dashboard displays can be customised using Moza’s Pit House software but most significantly is compatible with ‘third-party setups’ via a USB cable. We have reached out to Moza to ask if this includes SimHub and will update this article when we receive a response.
The CM 2 has a quad-core processor and slim profiled design that can be easily attached to Moza wheelbases. The screen’s height can be adjusted to prevent the five-inch screen from blocking your monitor.
Moza’s CM 2 Racing Dash is available to order now, costing $199 / €219 / £195.
Expect reviews of both products on Traxion soon.
