Monoprice, the online American retailer specialising in electronics and cables for home-based applications has announced a move into the sim racing market with a wheel stand and triple-screen monitor mounting solution.

Respectively named the Dark Matter GT Foldable Racing Stand and Dark Matter GT Triple Racing Mount, both items are available now from Monoprice’s website.

The wheel stand in particular should appeal to a large percentage of sim racers given its low price and foldability, with Monoprice taking on the likes of Playseat and Next Level Racing’s in the entry-level wheel stand market.

Weighing in at 20kg, the GT Foldable Racing Stand is available to purchase now for $109.99 (before taxes and shipping) and naturally provides a convenient solution for sim racers lacking in space thanks to its compactness when collapsed.
