Logitech has finally released its RS H-Shifter, a seven-speed shifter slotting into the hardware giant’s RS range of sim racing products.
The RS H-Shifter features Logitech’s typically conservative design cues, with a black plastic chassis complemented by a low-carbon aluminium gate.
This is mated to a glass-filled nylon-and-steel table clamp, which, if it’s anything like the Swiss-American company’s previous efforts, will grip most desks impressively well.
The new gear selector can be connected to a PC and used alongside other hardware brands, but it can only be used with PlayStation and Xbox consoles when paired with a compatible Logitech steering wheel, such as the RS50 wheelbase.
Weighing just over 1 Kg and featuring interchangeable gear knobs, the RS H-Shifter retails for £139.99 / $159.99, and can be set up with eight forward gears or the more conventional seven forward and one reverse setup.
