Live the cab life with Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator in 2023

Initially revealed as an Early Access title called Urban Venture, Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator by Simteract has been picked up by French developer and publisher Nacon.

The simulator title will see you live the life of a taxi driver in the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona. This will include having conversations with passengers, managing fuel levels and trying not to crash. Just regular cab-driver things.

You are behind the wheel, responsible for driving paying customers to their destinations on time. But, you will also oversee the business – with team recruitment on the agenda – and even, in a nod to mechanic simulators, oversee car maintenance.

The Kraków-studios deal with Nacon expands the company’s ‘Nacon Life’ portfolio, alongside Chef Life and Hotel life simulators. The company already creating the upcoming WRC Generations and Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. Simteract has previously released Train Life: A Railway Simulator in 2021.

Instead of the planned Early Access on PC only towards the end of 2022, Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator will now be launching on both PC and consoles in early 2023.
