- LMU’s V1.4.1.0 patch released, addressing several key online issues
- Major pitstop bug apparently fixed, with Daytona Special Event pushed back by a fortnight
The first significant patch for Le Mans Ultimate’s V1.4 update has been released, with Motorsport Games moving to address a serious pitstop bug.
Reportedly not an issue before V1.4, both AI and player-controlled cars could be blocked in their pit boxes by adjacent vehicles, requiring three, five or even seven-point turns to extricate themselves. The issue is even more apparent in a competitive online environment, where the problem has caused much consternation.
Not only this, but many users have also reported a litany of other online bugs, including pitstop and netcode issues, which have apparently led MSG to postpone the upcoming 8 Hours Daytona International Speedway Special Event by two weeks to the 25th of August.
The V1.4.1.0 patch has also adjusted several aspects of the game’s latest US Track Pass DLC circuits, Daytona and Laguna Seca, with the former’s GTE Balance of Performance heavily revised. Track limits and boundary issues have also been tweaked around Laguna Seca, with grip levels increased slightly on its dusty run-off areas.
