iRacing Fanatec GT Challenge - Porsche GT3R Snetterton Track Guide Season 3 2021 Week 4 | Dave Cam

With the Fanatec GT Challenge official series heading to Snetterton 300 Circuit, Dave Cam is back for the fourth edition of his exclusive track guides here on the Traxion channel. As always, Dave is utilizing the Porsche 911 GT3 R, a new-to-iRacing vehicle this season, driving a DriveThrough Traxion livery, because why not.

The 300 layout at Snetterton is 2.969-miles or 4.779-kilometers and features 12 turns around the circuit. As Dave puts it, this venue is severely underused on the iRacing calendar, so much so that this editor writing this description needed to see if they even turned a single lap on the track on the service. They hadn’t, so Dave’s point stands. I think it’s great to see different tracks on different schedules and to mix it up a little bit.

As it is in every episode, Dave will provide his expertise on how to learn the venue, corner by corner at a slow and methodical approach. With how unknown this circuit may be to some, this might be the episode to tune in for if you haven’t watched one yet.

There are tons of important racing words in this one too, such as trail braking, mesh, and more curb/kerb action. Seriously, highly recommend this and the rest of the videos on the channel, even if you don’t drive in the GT3 challenge, these tips are universal at these twisty courses.

Tune in every Monday on Traxion for Dave Cam’s Track Guides for the Porsche 911 GT3 R in the iRacing Fanatec GT Challenge. If you missed any of the previous guides, be sure to check them out over at Traxion.GG or on our YouTube channel. While you’re over there, don’t forget to like all of the videos and subscribe!
