Indianapolis, Portland and Silverstone tracks updated in rFactor 2

The rapid pace of updates continues at Studio 397 as rFactor 2 has just received a suite of new updates to tracks and car liveries.

As we reported yesterday, April will see many new updates be delivered to the PC-based simulator, and it all starts this week and the rollout of changes to three fan favourite tracks.

The Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit now hits v2.12 and with it comes changes to the start worker animation and the start flag marshal animation under a safety car, new pit official animations and some other minor updates we have listed below.

Portland Internation Raceway is now on v1.06 which involves changes to the pit official numbering, starter worker animation under a safety car and fixing an issue with the defaulter mapper at night on the ‘No chicane’ layout.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Motor Speedway reaches v1.09 thanks to changes that include a smaller kerb at turn six of the GP layout, the fixing of collision issues, reduced noise coming from the road surface and regeneration of all the real road rubber profile.

But that’s not all. As a bonus, new O-Rouge themed liveries will now be available for the BMW M8 GTE 2018, Aston Martin Vantage GTE 2019, Porsche 991RSR GTE 2017 and Corvette C7R GTE 2017 alongside some tweaks to some of the existing designs. Crispy.
