With its release just over a month away, Milestone has unveiled a new trailer for Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, with the second episode of its Beyond the Track series detailing the vehicle classes and campaign progression.
Deviating from the Unleashed games, Infinite Rush takes the series open world with four themed, scaled-down islands to explore.
The campaign sees you explore each island with your ‘Rush Squad’ team comprising four vehicles, with one from each class featuring unique handling and boost mechanics. Drift cars, for example, recharge boost when driving sideways, while Speeders regenerate boost through straight-line speed.
Each vehicle class can also be switched on the fly, with the option to experiment with different combinations as your collection expands.
There is also a perk system where you can improve performance stats and customise your boost, along with a suite of customisation options for fitting stickers, wheels and rims.
