Grid Finder hosts sim racing equipment competition at ADAC SimRacing Expo

Visitors at the upcoming ADAC SimRacing Expo in Dortmund will not only be treated to equipment hands-on, new product reveals and live esports, but also a prize quest.

In partnership with sim racing league and community service Grid Finder, signing up for its service will unlock access to a competition where sought-after items will be up for grabs.

Visiting certain stans at the event will earn a virtual badge and each badge you earn provides a raffle entry. More badges, more raffle entries. Simple as that, you’d like to win merch, exhibitors would like you to say hello, win-win.

Each badge earns you one entry to a daily and overall prize raffle. Earn three badges on the same stand to win a trophy. A trophy earns you five entries to a daily and overall raffle.

The ‘overall’ raffle prize selection is yet to be revealed, but at the very least each day there will be three winners of a Fanatec t-shirt, QR2 bundle and Podium Button Module Rally.

Other prizes up for grabs include goodie bags, mousemats, t-shirts and sim racing boots by Asetek SimSports, Cammus C5 wheel and pedals plus Acelith gloves provided by Absolute Motorsport alongside Novus t-shirts.

Copies of the Karting Superstars game are also up for grabs.

Badge challenges include setting a lap on one of Fanatec’s Gran Turismo World Series 2023 simulators, testing a virtual Aston Martin Valkyrie (a real one is set to be on Fanatec stand) or trying a Varjo Aero headset on the Grid Finder stand.

As a visitor, once you’ve completed a challenge, scan the relevant QR code, tap the link and it will attribute the badge to your profile via your phone’s web browser. Team members on each stand will be aware of the competition, so just ask for help.

The ADAC SimRacing Expo runs between 13th-15th October 2023.
