The current calendar for this year’s World Series competition had, until the 11th August, a ‘TBC’ for the final venue.

However, following an announcement during the Manufacturers Cup Showdown event in Amsterdam, we now know it will be in Barcelona, Spain.

Between the 1st and 3rd December, the quickest competitors on Gran Turismo 7 will gather for the in-person LAN-based title decider, last year held in Monaco.

The Dutch Showdown event provides points towards the overall championship standings across two competitions – the Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup. There are no further rounds between now and the December final.

There is also set to be an in-Gran Turismo 7 online time trial in partnership with tyre producer Michelin, with tickets to the Spanish event up for grabs. Further details are expected later in the year.
