A new Server Maintenance Notice has just been published by Polyphony Digital, and that strongly hints at one thing – a new Gran Turismo 7 game update is coming.
“The ‘Gran Turismo 7’ servers will undergo maintenance during the following period:
Start: 24/11/2022 06:00 GMT
End: 24/11/2022 08:00 GMT”
That’s ending at 9 am CET, 3 am ET and 12 am PT. During this downtime we expect the latest patch to land on PlayStation 4s and PlayStation 5s, before being playable after the maintenance.
No specific mention of the game update arriving during this time is on short notice – however, a series producer (Kazunori Yamauchi) teaser tweet followed by a server notice has been the pattern for every significant update for the title so far.
Yamauchi-san posted on Sunday 20th November with a darkened silhouette of three cars – which we believe to be the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500, a Nissan S14 AERO and some sort of sports car.
This next update is also set to include 25th Anniversary content, details of which remain under wraps at present. Ferrari’s first-ever Vision Gran Turismo concept is also set for a reveal soon, on Sunday 27th November during the upcoming World Series World Finals.
