Gran Turismo 7’s next update lands on 26th June 2025, and with it comes three new-to-the-game cars, plus further GT Sophy support, Scottish scapes, plus additional single-player races.
Three new cars
If you have followed the teaser campaign for this update, these cars should come as no surprise. For the avoidance of doubt:
- Citroën BX 19 TRS ’87 – Used cars – 30,000 credits – 357.04pp
- Lancia Delta HF Integrale Rally Car ’92 – Legend cars – 300,000 credits – 605.44pp
- Peugeot SUV 2008 Allure ’21 – Brand Central – 29,000 credits – 367.32pp
The Lancia is the real-world World Rally Championship version of the road car, which is already in Gran Turismo 7. This is the peak of Delta HF Integrale, which won the final WRC title by the Italian manufacturer in 1992.

It has the distinctive ‘flat’ rear spoiler, wide arches, small rear-view mirrors and ‘turbofan’ asphal wheels – designed to cool the front brakes during long, twisty, stages.
Meanwhile, the Citroën is an archetypal family saloon from the 1980s, but with a French twist. That means self-levelling hydropneumatic suspension. This particular example features a 1.9-litre engine (hence the ‘19’ moniker), one of the larger displacements for the BX. Despite this, it only outputs just over 100bhp.

Finally, there’s the Peugeot 2008, which, despite its name, is about as alluring as dirty cat litter. It follows a recent trend for Gran Turismo 7 to add ordinary contemporary crossovers, and it’s a trend that infuriates. Ah, there we go, an actual characteristic – the Peugeot 2008 will at least make you frustrated. Stick that on the adverts.

GT Auto customisation options

Scottish Scapes
Some northern scenes will be added to the latest photographic creation. I’m sure my Scottish colleagues are cracking out the haggis, Irn-Bru and kilts to celebrate. Stereotypes exist for a reason…
