- F1 and Fanatec renew global licensing deal
- New steering wheels and limited edition products in progress
Formula 1 and sim racing hardware manufacturer Fanatec have announced the renewal of their global licensing partnership today (23rd March 2026).
The Landshut-based company has enjoyed a deal to produce F1-licensed products since 2018, but after its acquisition by Corsair in 2024, the future of the arrangement was uncertain.

However, it has been confirmed that a ‘multi-year’ deal has been signed, and will lead to the creation of F1-branded steering wheels and other ‘limited edition’ products, with Fanatec simulators also publicly accessible in Grand Prix Fan Zones.
As part of the deal, Fanatec will continue to support the F1 Sim Racing World Championship, the first round of which takes place at DreamHack Birmingham from the 27th to the 29th March, with all sim hardware provided by the German brand.
