Logitech, the giant Swiss-based peripheral and software manufacturer, has today (21st September 2022) unveiled its latest gaming headset to the public.
Titled the ‘Logitech G Astro A30 Wireless Gaming Headset’, it aims to provide excellent sound quality to accompany your gaming sessions, with the convenience of wireless operation and multiple outputs.
Although Logitech is most famous for producing computing peripherals such as mice, keyboards, webcams and speakers, the company is also a market leader in entry-level sim racing wheels like its G29/G920 and G923 examples.
Logitech G Astro A30 Wireless Gaming Headset compatibility and functionality
The Logitech G Astro A30 headphones can be used with several consoles and home computers, boasting native compatibility with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PC, plus Android and iOS mobile devices.
Not only is the Logitech G Astro A30 Wireless Gaming Headset compatible with all major gaming platforms, but it can also be used with multiple inputs at the same time thanks to Logitech’s proprietary LIGHTSPEED 2.4GHz Wireless technology.
Players can listen to music on their phone via Bluetooth while still enjoying a gaming session on their console of choice. Plus, the 3.5mm AUX out jack can be utilised at the same time. It’s also possible to adjust gaming and voice audio profiles via Logitech’s G mobile app.

The Logitech G Astro A30 Wireless Gaming Headset has 40mm audio drivers powering its sound production, and it comes in two colours – navy and white. Gamers can even customise their headset by purchasing additional designs for the cans. Your own design can also be submitted and purchased via the Astro website.
The headset boasts a battery life of more than 27 hours. Its built-in accelerometers detect inactivity and power the headset down automatically, extending its usability further.
The Logitech G Astro A30 Wireless Gaming Headset also features a detachable boom microphone for voice chat, but a separate onboard microphone can also be used for more convenience. Naturally, when the battery runs out, the headset can also be used via a device’s 3.5mm audio output.
