Easy Delivery Co. is perhaps the weirdest driving game you’ll play this year. Set in an open world filled with cats (yes), your goal is to make deliveries and unlock the mysterious secrets held by its residents.

Evoking a PlayStation-era visual style, Easy Delivery Co. sees players driving their kei-style truck between errands, earning cash from jobs while learning more about why this once-scenic mountain town is now covered in a perennial blanket of snow.

Personally, I’d be more worried about why everyone was a cat, but never mind.

Currently available as a free demo on Steam, Easy Delivery Co. is set for a full release soon, with developer Sam Cameron leaning into the low-poly aesthetic to produce an atmospheric-yet-cutesy gaming world. I mean, just look at the way the characters hop around. Aww.

Pleasingly, there’s also a four-player local split-screen racing mode to try, with a brutal in-game economy forcing players to pay over-the-top sums for petrol. Very realistic, then.
