Shop sim racing equipment
Those who subscribe to the EA Play service on PC, PlayStation and Xbox will soon be able to drive EA SPORTS WRC for no additional fee.
As of 5th December 2024, the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship will be added to the Play List – a vault of titles by Electronic Arts that subscribers gain access to.
The version added will exclude the 2024 Season Expansion Bundle DLC, which remains an optional extra.
Developed by Codemasters, the game mixes simulation elements with large stages, a large car roster, single-player career mode and asynchronous clubs multiplayer mode – among further features.
Xbox Game Pass
With four types of Game Pass subscriptions available (a minefield), it’s important to note that the PC-only tier plus the top-of-the-line Ultimate plan also include EA Play membership.
Those on those two levels will also receive access to EA SPORTS WRC on 5th December.
Those on Games Pass Core or Standard, however, will not.
EA SPORTS WRC is also receiving a new game update on the same date, with new icons in the livery editor, tweak difficulty presets and a visual-only damage option.
