Once sim racing platform RaceRoom Racing Experience launched its official DTM 2024-season car pack, which brought Lamborghini to the game for the very first time, it felt inevitable that it would also run its customary DTM Esports championship – especially now that every car from the real-world can be represented.
That has proven to be the case, as one of the premier sim racing competitions returns for a six-round season that begins in March and ends in July.
Qualifying for the competition is open to anyone with RaceRoom. This will be done across multiple stages.

Hot lap qualifying around Oschersleben is live right now until the 8th January 2025. The top 32 drivers on the leaderboard will then take part in two races, and the top 16 from those ‘Shootout 1’ events will make it onto the grid for the main championship.
A second round of hot laps and races, called ‘Shootout 2’, will also take place to find the remaining 16 drivers. This will be around a virtual Lausitzring, with the time trial open between 17th-30th January 2025.
The prize pool is significant, and while every detail is not yet confirmed, it will total somewhere between €50,000 and €75,000, of which €15,000 will be guaranteed as cash rewards.
