Dörr Esports adds two new drivers to the roster

Newcomer to sim racing, Dörr Esports, welcomes a couple fresh faces to their team, including Jonas Wanner and Lucas Müller.

Dörr Esports Moritz Löhner and Lucas Müller win big at the DNES season opener

The little team out of Germany just got a bit bigger by expanding their sim racing squad.

Jonas Wanner, known as the train conductor (not overly sure why, but he’s the dude with the biggest slipstream behind his car and we’re totally here for it), joins Dörr Esports after having a successful season in GT Masters Esports.

He’s also competed in the DTM Esports championship in 2020 and 2022.

Alongside him, is someone folks are calling the rising star of Formula E Esports: Lucas Müller. The two have paired up for past events, such as the 24H Series Esports Season 4. Even from further down the grid, both were able to compete for the podium, ultimately finishing fourth in the second round which took place last month at Sebring International Raceway. They snagged second place back in September, too.

Fun fact: Müller was originally studying to become a banker.

Dörr Esports is fairly new to the scene of sim racing, with their first ever Le Mans Virtual Series appearance this season, actually. Pairing up with Project 1, the German team led by DTM Trophy driver Moritz Löhner has a knack for choosing talented racers. Recently, He and Müller were giga teammates at the Digital Nurburgring Endurance Series season opener on 19th November.

In a recent interview, Löhner told me that he only selects the best at their craft, so it’ll be interesting to see how both newcomers fit into the Dörr Esports family.

Congrats to both Jonas Wanner and Lucas Müller on the huge signing! We look forward to watching your success in sim racing and beyond.
