Strap in racing game fans who also happen to have Xbox Game Pass and not already own Wreckfest and DIRT 5, because these two games are joining the subscription service on PC and console this month.

In fact, Wreckfest has joined the service today, 18th February, while DIRT 5 joins on the 25th February 2021. They join other racing titles on the service such as Forza Horizon 4, MotoGP 20 and Forza Motorsport 7.

As with every game – seemingly apart from Xbox Game Studios’ titles – they are never on Game Pass forever. Speaking of which, DiRT 4 leaves the service on 24th February too.

Wreckfest, formerly ‘Next Car Game’, released on PC in 2018, before console versions arrived in 2019. Since then, the fun vehicle demolition racer has seen a slurry of free updates and two seasons of paid additions. This included the recent addition of the ‘Wrecknado’ track.

DIRT 5 meanwhile is a fun arcade racer, that will scratch that off-road racing bug, but perhaps not stick around for long. In his DIRT 5 review, John Munro said: “DIRT 5 is an entertaining game to play through during a lockdown, but too shallow to stick around afterwards.”

Do you subscribe to Game Pass, and if so, will you be downloading either of these two on Xbox or PC? Let us know in the comments below.
